Not for Vegetarians

I think we had this sushi dinner with Myles and Carey about 2 weeks ago now. Carey rode in from Kent on her bike.

Sometimes I walk a few blocks after work, just to take in the street sights.

Brig, Myles, Carey, Ross and I went to a strange little concert in a rented storefront. There was a saxophone player, and a guitarist, a bassist and a drummer, and a whole lot of strange goings on with those electrical wiring setups on the floor, and with the Mac. It was a little too structureless for my liking, but an interesting evening anyway.

For Brigid's final morning in Seattle, she and rode our bikes through Interlaken Park, where I once saw a boreal owl. It's right in the middle of the city, but you'd never know it for all the trees and mud and twisty-turny ravines. I'm glad Brig got to see it.

Then we had some coffee and a crepe before I took her to the airport.

It was nice knowing I'd see her again for Christmas, only ten days away at that point.

The next day Sloan and Jenny came over for brunch. They took us for a ride in their new car.

And brought Mighty O donuts, which I hadn't tried yet. They are mighty delicious.

I made my first batch of cinnamon rolls, with orange icing.

They looked great, but they were kind of dry and bland. Jenny said it tasted like they weren't too bad for you, but in the case of cinnamon rolls, I think that's probably not a good thing.
