The construction site for the new light rail is awfully strange...
Okay, they haven't actually started construction yet. But it is strange--more and more art keeps appearing in the now vacant buildings.
The last time Ross and I took a Sunday bike ride to Ballard, I found $80 folded up and tire-tracked in the middle of the street. This time, we found a bike light that someone had dropped, and an abandoned piano.
It was pretty out of tune, but Ross still got compliments on his playing.

I'd take a vintage, out of tune, but not so out of tune you can't recognize a melody here & there, piano over a tire-tracked $80 any day. Okay, maybe only on certain days, but a rare find nonetheless.
I know just about two songs on the piano, & they both sound best on neglected instruments shot-through with dust. What did Ross play?
He's an improviser when it comes to music. We considered strapping it to Ross' backpack, but decided he'd never make it up the hill.
