AIR MAIL AND RADIO WAVES

Myles made a weird little puppet out of his silverware wrapper.

These radio towers are across the street from our apartment. Occasionally I wonder if they affect our brains.

Carey took me to Kent, to visit Myles at the Paper Show, and do some late Christmas shopping.

The paper show was in a gym. It was a stamp collector's paradise, a group that once included Carey. She has albums full of stamps from her childhood. She did get a little gleam of excitement in her eye while we discussed the design of some stamps we looked at, but mostly she seems to have outgrown the habit.

Carey bought some new sneakers while she and Myles were in California at a different sort of paper show.

Ross and I met Craig and his friend Jake for dinner that night.

Craig has a tattoo of a freckle.

THE NEARER YOUR DESTINATION

Even though TS is far, far away, we visited her neighborhood to eat at the Squid and Ink. It was very quiet and a little cold, and felt like we were inside a diorama, which all sounds like maybe we didn't like it, but we did. This is the view out their window.

Ross slipped on the ice last week and broke his toe. At least it seems broken.

Even the Moss Was Gleaming

Mole + Small Drain

Kent had a birthday so I made him and Ross pose in the birthday hats.

Finally, a sunshiny weekend.

At King's, the hamburgers are small and patriotic.

Tim turned out to be rather less patriotic than his burgers...

This is actually a decent approximation of "The Essence of Craig"

More sun! MORE!

For my birthday my bike got new, narrower, faster handlebars.
