A Glimpse of the Bee's Knees

These are posted on a defunct Denny's in Ballard.

On a rough Monday evening, we saw two people leave their homes on stretchers--one from the elders home on the left, and one from the halfway home on the right.

One good thing about taking the bus to work is that it gives me time to look at the pigeons on the line.

Ross' friend Craig told us that his tag is a gray square. Since he confessed, we've noticed that he owns this city!

His tag is everywhere!

This is approximately the way my eyes see at the end of a work day.

Carey and Myles had us over for a night of lasagna and Super 8 films.

There were the requisite tangles and malfunctions.

Among other things, we watched Yellowstone geysers and children opening Christmas presents.

And Ross came home that night with a brand spanking new Raleigh Rush Hour, so of course we took it out for the spin the next day.

It is his first brand new, never-been-owned-by-anyone-else bike since he was fourteen.

He says it's a smooth ride. It's also silent and pretty.

We rode and walked around the arboretum.

I subjected Ross to my portable photo booth.
