Service a la Russe

The sun's wintry angle has been providing us with some nice morning light.

Ross had a hard time deciding what to order when we went out the other night.

Maybe it was this warning on the menu that was intimidating him.

He finally settled on the Deviled Eggs.

They were delicious.

Jenny, TS, Sloan and Jerritt all came over for Thanksgiving Dinner.

Along with culinary delights, Sloan brought these potholders, embroidered by her grandmother.

S & J brought a Celebration Field Roast, topped with cherry relish. It was quite tasty.

But some of us like to eat turkey, too.

My goal for my first turkey roasting experience: please, please, no one get sick.

Success! (Never mind that it was a little behind schedule.) It actually tasted pretty good, too.

We took a little walk to wake up after eating all that tasty tryptophan.

And I made everyone pose for a family portrait.

We played exsquisite corpse with drawings.

Sloan got a wisdom tooth pulled on Wednesday. Good thing so many Thanksgiving foods are mushy.

TS bakes a mean pumpkin pie.
