For your rotten tooth

TaraShea gave David and I glow-in-the-dark plastic dinosaurs. David stuck his in his hair and charged it up under a desk light.

See it?

It was Mat's birthday last week, so we went out for a taqueria dinner.

That's a blurry fish head, and Mat.

Then it was back to David's and Kim's house for cake and champagne. (Anton made the cake: red velvet with cream cheese frosting.)

Ellery was feeling bravely affectionate.

The cake was delicious, too.

This is the photo I got after I said, Keep your eyes open. That never works.

Happy Birthday, Mat.

You were never surprised.

Brigid and George brought Gerber Daisies to the second night of the Satellite Readings, which starred TS reading her poetry, me, Amanda, and Mat reading our fiction.

Jaffa came to both nights of the reading series.

George has a cherry blossom tattoo.

In Soulard we saw a Molly Trolley! Molly!

Rach joins the sunglasses brigade.

David was jealous, so Rachel loaned him her sunglasses.

Classes are out for the summer. Alison wanted to celebrate. In the background, the literature profs are celebrating, too.

Hmm?..

A was proud.

City O City

Brigid, Georgina and I biked to the Arch. George got a flat and I forgot a spare tube (Bad hostess/bad cyclist!) So we walked the last mile or so.

Brig found the industrial landscape depressing, but she took these photos.

Brig and George took photos of each other under the arch while I rode down to the river bike path and bummed a tube off a very nice cyclist. Yay!

(B took the good ones)

TS and her friend Ann, who was visiting from Rochester, NY, met us.

There was a lot of laying in the grass.

Brig danced the best animation of the weekend. These are just a sampling.

GAP!

George is tall. She almost touched the airplanes that were flying beneath the arch.

We rode to Forest Park, and lazed about in the grass some more.

Anton met us for Brazilian food and made this self portrait of herself as a beautiful ghost.
