THE SEALIONS WERE FROLICKING

The wine stain actually washed out of my scarf, along with a good deal of orange dye.

Apparently, someone is occasionally assigned the job of tearing down layers and layers of posters.

It's been rather rainy lately, a lot like fall, which made the mood right for beers in a ship-like bar.

But Friday evening was gorgeous--perfect for a ride to the Locks, and another picnic.

The Pacific Avenger is much, much bigger than she looks in this photograph. I mean, look at those people down there--they're standing up in awe of her.

On the way home we followed an arrow to see what "Dutch Bikes" were. The Dutch Bikes shop was all closed up, but we did get to see the "Ride the Geoduck" car, so it was worth it.

Okay, I guess it hasn't been entirely rainy. Saturday was gorgeous, too. We had big plans for a ride on Vashon Island, but we took the long way around West Seattle, and by the time we got to the ferry, we were kind of tired.

So we went to the park, and I picked some blackberries.

The blackberries were not quite ripe.

Ross got a new Soma Smoothie bike frame.

Our apartment is a disaster--littered with tools and hardware and spokes and such. But the new bike should be rolling around sometime this week...
