The sawdust settles

I went to the zoo to snap a few more Polaroids, but I took some digital photos, too.

These Pig Nosed Turtles were a little too quick for my camera, but I felt more affection for them than I have for most, or any, animals whom I haven't officially met. They're winged (okay, finned), small and quick, and very interested in their audience.

Oh Beautiful Showoff.

TS and I rented a circular saw. It was a little scary, but actually pretty easy to use.

Then we sanded and painted zillions of wooden blocks on which our Polaroids now hang.
