I found my thrill

Goodbye cat-scratched sofa. Goodbye rug.

The drink changes, but, still...

Anyway, TS, Rachel, Alison and I met at good old Blueberry Hill.

A tremendous rainstorm blew in out of nowhere.

So we ran inside to eat with the creatures.

TS expects us to believe she "bought" this wallet at a yard sale. Sure, Jessica.

It's Alison's fault. She's a terrible influence.

We went back to Alison's to snip up the photo strips so everyone could have a couple.

Alison has drawn and written all over her walls with washable chalk.

Don't tell me you're a one trick pony

It looks like Jaffa is in the elevator to Heaven, but really she's at the emissions testing station. She's purchasing the trusty little Egg.

Photos are not allowed at the emissions testing station, but I took these two before he told me.

Anton, Mat, Tim and I had dinner together the other night. While we were sitting there a stranger handed Mat a free ticket to Morrissey.

Among other topics, Tim, Anton and I talked about church, so I took some church photos on my ride home.

I thought I'd better capture my spooky basement on camera before I leave St.L.

Which do you choose? Burning Hell?

Or freezing?

And a final evening of Lost watching at Mat and Anton's. They will no longer have to fill me in on the twenty-seven episodes I missed.

Zocalo betrayed me for his new cat-sitter.

I sold my bed, too. (This is another retrospective.)

Lucy did not want to part with it.

All those ridiculous metaphors smoldering

Here's a little pre-blog retrospective tribute to St. Louis.

And back to the almost present: more Ethiopian, this time lunch with TS.

And 609 with Tim, Anton, and Rachel. I sure like that place better when we can sit outside.

I think Tim was dancing?

Back at Tim's house, he gave a dramatic reading of his Grandma's latest letter.

And Mat brought Anton her favorite treat--BBQ chips.

Ellie is too smart to catch her tail on fire.

The Second Hand Unwinds

Maybe the cure to cancer was growing in my fridge, but I threw it out.

I can't take everything with me to Seattle, you know.

TS' lovely garden yard.

Elizabeth's backyard redux.

What a great show.

Silas, Elizabeth, Kyle and I went out for Ethiopian. Yum.

I guess Kyle liked his beer.

Then we capped the evening with some classic St.L Ted Drewes.

David got his bike converted to a fixed gear. It's so fun to ride!

Mat's friend Adam came to St.L with his band, Captain Yonder. Mat and Adam have known each other since they were in sixth grade, I think, but they hadn't seen each other for ten years.

Tim, Anton and I got a little hooked on the game machine.

And then on Connect Four.

Grueling, just grueling.
